STATE FORECAST: Sunday: A medium to high chance of showers about the northeast tropical coast, more likely with possible thunderstorms north of Cairns and also developing inland over the Peninsula. A medium to high chance of showers and storms over the Capricornia, with a slight to medium chance through remaining central parts and into the northern Maranoa and Warrego and northwest of the state. A slight to medium chance of showers over the southeast, more likely near the Fraser coast during the morning. Patchy high cloud developing through the southwest though with little or no rain. Moderate to fresh southeast to northeasterly winds.
