WIDE BAY:  Saturday... Partly cloudy. Patchy fog in the early morning. The chance of showers developing late in the morning, clearing in the late afternoon, then the chance of showers at night. Light winds becoming east to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 8 and 14 with daytime temperatures reaching the mid to high 20s. Fire Danger - High.  Outlook for Sunday... Cloudy. Scattered showers developing late in the morning. The chance of thunderstorms from the late morning. Light winds becoming east to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h in the morning then becoming light in the late evening. Overnight temperatures falling to between 8 and 14 with daytime temperatures reaching the low to mid 20s.
STATE FORECAST: Isolated showers about the coast and adjacent inland south of about Rockhampton, tending scattered about coastal parts of the Wide Bay and Burnett district and the Sunshine Coast. Increasing high cloud cover over the southwest of the state with possible isolated showers or thunderstorms but with little or no rainfall expected. Fine and mostly sunny conditions elsewhere. Mostly light to moderate southwest to southeasterly winds, fresh at times across the far north of the Peninsula. Northeast sea breezes developing along parts of the east coast during the afternoon.
Fire Danger - Very High in the western Darling Downs and Granite Belt district and about the Central Highlands and Coalfields district.
