STATE FORECAST: Monday:  A weak upper trough is expected to move across the far southwest of Queensland with a slight to medium chance of showers and thunderstorms remaining about the far southwest. A slight chance of showers and storms also exists through southern and western central districts, with a medium chance about inland southeast Queensland. Showers are once more a possibility for the tropical east coast. Higher than average temperature persist across most of the state, especially in the southeast and the southern and central interior, whilst sea breezes will keep coastal areas somewhat cooler.
Ted's Comment... Sunday, 04 December 2016 16:24     Some isolated showers and thunderstorms are forecast for the Gympie region on Wednesday at this stage. Local fire dangers remain very high at the moment. Hot and sunny for the next two days, some showers and possible thunderstorms from Wednesday and into the weekend....                Ted Uebergang
